Uchiyama is a grade of Sencha produced classically during the summer season at selected tea gardens with promise of high sunshine levels. As with all Japanese Sencha teas, Fortnum’s Uchiyama Tea has a fresh green taste with an underlying smoothness and sweetness.Why not cold brew? A wonderful alternative for summer, this will extract the flavour without any bitterness. Simply add the tea to an infuser bottle, pour in cold water and leave for an hour or cool overnight in the fridge. The result is utterly refreshing!
